Aircraft Mechanic – CH53E Avionics
Job Summary: DynCorp is the prime contractor at NAS Patuxent River MD, providing direct support of 114 aircraft and 37 different type models/series. We provide scheduled and unscheduled organizational, intermediate, depot level aircraft maintenance, approved Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) requirements, Aircrew services and logistic support on all designated aircraft and Support Equipment (SE) for Naval Test Wing Atlantic (NAVTESTWINGLANT).
• Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, instructions, blueprints, and drawings in English. • Must have a thorough working knowledge of all forms and documents required to support maintenance. • Must be efficient in the use and application of tools, gauges, instruments, etc. necessary for the accomplishment of his duties. • Must have an understanding and working knowledge of hazardous material handling and disposal. • A working knowledge of safety requirements and of the operation of portable fire fighting equipment is required. • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk for extended periods. • Must be able to climb and work from ladders, work stands, and other heights. • Must be able to work with one or both hands extended overhead. • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
