| Position Description |

Principal Responsibilities:
A. Supervises and coordinates day-to-day vehicle maintenance operations in throughout the theater of operation. B. Perform all necessary preventative maintenance such that vehicles meet Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) standards. C. Perform any required corrective maintenance to return vehicles to OEM standards. D. Warranty management E. Vehicle replacement planning; provides budget inputs to the Logistics Manager for fleet size and management to meet minimum known and future program requirements. F. Performs other duties as required.
Education Required:
High School diploma plus some technical training; Military mechanic training courses and certification preferred; Armorer formal training in maintenance and repair of armored/up-armored vehicles.
Experience Required:
Minimum of two (2) years experience managing large fleet vehicle support.

Special Knowledge/Skills Required:
A. Must be factory trained and/or certified in maintenance of similar equipment as supported. B. Ability to communicate fluently in the English language C. May be required to respond to a wide variety of operational circumstances, including extreme weather conditions and rudimentary infrastructure. D. Knowledge of various computer applications such as Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) E. Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related federal and state legislation and regulations F. Proficiency in defensive driving techniques highly desired.
