| Position Description |
| JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinates and/or approves local operating and personnel actions, policies and procedures within the generalized framework of overall corporate guidelines. Responsible for contract administrative functions including safety, security, and labor reporting. Ensures adherence to established standards of individual performances and site discipline. Manages monetary resources in such a manner to keep the contract within budget guidelines and meet all DynCorp budget objectives. Provides a high degree of customer satisfaction by quality performance and best-return for their investment. Maintains as a liaison with customer representatives. Performs Class reviews with the Training Sub Contractor to ensure compliance with Program of Instructions (POI) Ensures compliance with the State Departments Statement of Work (SOW) for this contract. Reviews, assesses and determines any disqualification of any behavior that would reflect poorly on the United States Government, Department of State, U.S. Embassy, local Governments and DynCorp International. Oversees on-time delivery of all project deliverables. Provides Weekly Reports to required State Department Staff and DynCorp Management per SOW. Oversees training program for effectiveness, sub contractor provided personnel are properly vetted and that the leadership is executing their responsibilities efficiently and effectively. OTHER or ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Performs other duties as assigned. Keep Abreast of training trends and best practices Management Responsibility Project Personnel Reports to AFRICAP Program Manager Internal/External Contacts Department of State Contracting Representative, DoS Government Technical Monitor, AFRICAP PMO Knowledge & Skills Written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to function effectively in adverse situations. Knowledge of foreign languages (French) is desirable, but not essential Knowledge of various computer skills desirable (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Experience & Education Ten (10) years of experience working on or overseeing military or civilian projects. Five (5) plus years in a supervisory role. Generalized experience in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing various programs. Demonstrated experience in the interpretation of government regulations and the development of plans, policies, and procedures. Experience in the following is preferred: Peace Keeping Operations, Training African forces Bachelors degree in an associated discipline. Two (2) years experience in logistics or related field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years college. Graduate of The Army Command and General Staff College |
