Company Description


Position Description
Receives cargo from site departments and supply. Prepares documentation to enter cargo into the Defense Transportation System (DTS). Packages and/or crates cargo if required. May operate and maintain Cargo Movement Operating System (CMOS) equipment and perform System Administrator (SA) duties. Loads/offloads cargo on/off trucks. Assists air terminal in loading/offloading aircraft. Operates material handling equipment (MHE). May assist the air terminal in aircraft loading/offloading. Responsible for, and participates in, quality assurance as part of the ISO 9001 program.

Required Skills
Minimum of five (5) years experience in traffic management (TMO). Work experience in freight acceptance, preparation, processing, inspection, documentation and handling procedures is required. Must have completed training to prepare, certify and/or inspect Hazardous Materials for Air Transportation IAW AFJMAN 24-204 and 49 CFR, currency not required. Qualified to operating MHE. Experienced in palletizing cargo on single, multiple/married 463L pallets using side and top nets, straps, chains and devices for restraint. Must be computer literate and be able to operate software programs relating to Freight Traffic operations and office administration.
