Position Description
Buyer for cradle to grave acquisition of Program construction, commodity and service requirements. Adheres to all aspects of company policies and procedures, and prime contract, FAR/DFAR, and ISO requirements. Travels to various locations as assigned to execute duties. May perform as Purchasing Superintendent when required.
Required Skills
Degree in Business Studies preferred, or 8 years of Purchasing background in lieu. Minimum of five (5) years of purchasing experience required. Familiar with and able to comprehend and conform to all U.S. Government procurement procedures (i.e., FAR/DFAR regulations). Must be proficient in the English language, MS Word, and MS Excel. Must have a valid drivers license and capable of obtaining a local license. Must be willing and able to travel.
