| Position Description |
A. Responsible for insuring all input departments (payroll, A/P and General Ledger) are properly recording contract cost in accordance with CAS, GAAP and the disclosure statement while capturing cost in accordance with the contract requirements.
B. Recognize revenue for assigned contracts in accordance with GAAP.
C. In Depth analysis of financial statements and reporting monthly results to management. Analyze and Identify profit drivers and unusual financial transactions that had a material impact on the Profit and Loss statements.
D. Prepare bills and record collections in accordance with customer, management and contract requirements.
E. Maintain & generate project code structures in financial accounting system in accordance with customer/contract/management requirements.
F. Interpretation of contract documents for accounting impact.
G. Act as the point person for on-site personnel for all aspects of accounting for the contracts assigned.
H. Understanding of aviation services is a plus.

| Required Skills |
Education required: Bachelors degree (preferably in accounting or finance)
5+ years accounting experience
Must be highly proficient with Excel and accounting software.
Knowledge of Government contracting, ability to read and interpret government contract language and terms.
