Contracts Administrator Senior Summary of the Classification: Conducts contract administration functions for a variety of contracts especially major contracts within limits of authority delegated by the Vice President, Contracts. Principle Responsibilities of the Classification: A. Prepare and disseminates information throughout the company regarding status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination. Keep the Vice President, Contracts informed of contractual related matters on assigned contracts. B. Assist Division and Field personnel in contracted administration functions as required. C. Analyze estimates of services, material, equipment and production costs for contracts. D. Monitor the current status of assigned contracts. Keep Vice President, Contracts and other supervisors informed as to status of current contractual issues, modifications and other matters affecting the Company’s contract with the customer. E. Thoroughly review all new proposals/solicitations for unusual/unique requirements. F. Initiate documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specification. G. Negotiate contract modifications. H. Provide guidance to site personnel in preparation for negotiating of changes/modifications. Review pricing proposals completed by site personnel for completeness and accuracy. Brief Vice President, Contracts on such proposals. I. Develop or assist in the development of cost/price proposals in response to customer requirements, to include development of cost spreadsheets, gathering of estimates and writing narratives. J. Insure current Certificates of Insurance are maintained on current contracts. K. Assist in preparing for outside audits. L. Comply with and keep current on company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). M. Responsible for lead on an assigned contract and/or proposal. N. Performs other duties as assigned.

| Required Skills |
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline. Two (2) years in business or related field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college. Experience Required: Four (4) years in contract administration and government cost accounting environment. Special Knowledge/Skills Required: A. Knowledge of various computer programs required (ex: PeopleSoft, Word, Excel, etc) and working experience with spreadsheets. B. Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and related federal and state legislation and regulations. C. Excellent communication and people skills.
