Measures of Success:
1. Develops strong partner-relationships with internal and external teams
2. Meets or exceeds the service level expectations for response to customer – maintain high-level of customer satisfaction
3. Provide on-site development and support services for internal and external business units
4. Create, maintain and adhere to established technical system, software and network specifications

Scope: Provides PeopleSoft development services to internal and external customers. Company wide geographical expanse.

Constituents:
1. IT Management Team
2. Internal and external PeopleSoft customers

Key Accountabilities:
1. Development of architecture specifications, application partitioning, object and data modeling, database design, programming, quality assurance, implementation and support services pertaining specifically to PeopleSoft current and future applications.
2. Work with Business Systems Analyst employing object-oriented analysis and design techniques including use case analysis, object modeling and database schema design to ensure business requirements and design goals are met.
3. Work with business teams to clarify requirements and business needs.
4. Facilitate requirements gathering utilizing facilitated focus sessions and one-on-one interview with internal and external customers.
5. Participate in the development of detailed design specifications for use by technical teams.
6. Apply fix bundles and tax updates using development life cycle path.
7. Develop unit and system test plans validating business goal accomplishment.
8. Develop detailed estimates for projects, including resource allocation, timelines and budget.
9. Make technical decisions to meet the design goals laid out in product road map and by management.
10. Prioritize issues that require attention, and work to resolve issues based on an understanding of business problems.
11. Draw appropriate resources together in order to address technical issues.
12. Mentor progress of team and provide mentoring where appropriate.
13. Serves customer community and completes prioritized requirements in a timely manner
14. Successful adherence to standardization and compliance related to security, integrity and Sarbanes-Oxley
15. Works with senior technical staff members to create current and future technologies and methodologies
16. Due diligence related to testing, implementing and supporting technologies
17. Maintain, adhere to and report on Service Level Agreements
18. Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Environment: Traditional office environment. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Traditional work hours. May be called upon in crisis to work extra hours. On call 24 hours by 7 days.

Vendor Interface: Maintains contact with vendor teams related to systems and database technologies.

Technical Qualifications: PeopleSoft development in medium to large IT service organizations, state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies.

Education: State-of-the-art support certifications i.e. PeopleTools, ORACLE, SQL…



Required Skills
Experience:
1. Strong sense of urgency and customer first attitude
2. 5+ years experience within a medium to large technology service organization
3. 5+ years experience with current company related technologies
4. Experience with Standard Development Life Cycle practices.
5. Experience with Oracle, Unix
6. Experience using software design support tools and productivity suites such as Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
7. 3-5 Years experience designing and developing solutions including at least 2 Full Life Cycle Projects on PeopleSoft 7x and 8x HRMS / HCM
8. Experience with PeopleTools 8.4x, Application Designer and report writing tools including SQL and Crystal
9. Experience with PeopleSoft Systems and Servers Administration
