Technical Recruiter
Purpose of the Classification:
Performs a variety of professional and administrative simple to moderately complex recruiting functions in support of identifying, interviewing and referring job candidates for job openings for DynCorp International LLC and/or DynCorp Technical Services LLC (DI/DTS LLCs).
Principal Responsibilities of the Classification:
Performs many of the following responsibilities:
A. Confers with management to identify job specification, job duties, qualifications and skills for job openings.
B. Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements and to provide information about the organization and position.
C. Reviews background information to report qualification or disqualifications for qualified candidates
D. Initiates contact with possible candidates for assigned job openings.
E. Reviews and recommends qualified candidates for opening positions.
F. Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
G. Coordinates with operating department and follows up on receiving itineraries that candidate goes in-country without incident.
C. Works with team members to help identify contacts for source of qualified candidates.
D. Utilizes Internet on-line recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.
E. Provides guidance and information to applicants to ensure new hire process.
F. Assist with participation and set up for displays and job fairs.
G. Maintains database information documenting contact with qualified candidate.
H. Responsible for the integrity of the Personal History File (PHF) to be given to the operating department within DI/DTS LLCs.
I. Perform other related duties as required.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline. Two (2) years of experience in human resources or related field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college.


Required Skills
Experience Required:
Two (2) years experience in recruiting field.
Special Knowledge/Skills Required:
A. Professionally speaking ability directly to person via the telephone or internet.
B. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Access, Word).
C. Knowledge of employment laws for country represented on contract.
D. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments, work with little supervision and work well under pressure.
E. Knowledge of functions and operations of major U.S. Military commands.
F. Able to travel.
