| Position Description |
Ensure adequate transportation assets are available to meet mission requirements. Assist in the preparation of required documents to increase or decrease vehicle fleet size.
Supervises personnel assigned as dispatcher and drivers. Plans, organizes, and schedules daily operational activities. Reviews/completes bi-weekly timesheets for Chief of Transportation/Logistic Superintendent approval. Prepares and maintains vehicle forms and records.
Manage the Vehicle Control Program IAW AFI-24-301 and AFPAM 24-317. Ensure U-Drive-It vehicles are dispatched to support specific mission requirements. Manage DynCorp leased vehicles required to meet peak workloads. Develop and manage vehicle operator training for special purpose vehicles. Manage the flight line training program. Coordinates with base and local agencies on vehicle requirements and requested support. Establishes performance standards for dispatching, vehicles operation, and servicing.
Inspects vehicles and operational activities to ensure compliance with policy. Analyze data to ensure safety, customer satisfaction, and timeliness of dispatches. Manage training and provide safety and informational briefings.
Operates light motor vehicles under 14,000 lb. Gross vehicle weight (to include but not limited to sedans, passenger and cargo vans, stake and platform trucks, box cargo trucks, spot utility vehicles, and standard pick up trucks) Operates heavy equipment with s gross vehicle weight over 14,000 lb. (to include but not limited to forklifts with 4,000 lb to 15,000 lb lifting capacity, and passenger bus)
Duties as directed by Chief of Transportation, Logistic Manager, Deputy Site Manager or Site Manager.

Air Force background is preferred. Training as a Special Purpose Vehicle Mechanic is required. Refueler and Fire Truck experience is required
