DynCorp International LLC Senior Reports Developer
Summary of the Classification:
The Senior Report Developer is responsible for creating and/or updating reports, analyzing data, working with RDBMS systems and using web-based reporting systems to deliver reporting solutions to DynCorp International LLC business units.
Principal Responsibilities of the Classification:
Performs many of the following responsibilities:
A. Define, design, develop and deliver flexible reports that meet business user needs. B. Analyzes new hardware to determine its need or application in the existing system or new systems. C. Advises on new techniques and estimates costs. D. Monitor business applications support requests and respond quickly to resolve support issues E. Work closely with the business groups and the business function owners to deliver adequate report. F. Revises existing reports and database stored procedures to correct deficiencies to match business process changes. G. Communicates report development progress and issues to management and project sponsor. H. Oversees all SDLC (lifecycle) activities directly impacting report development, ensuring a quality product delivery. I. Recommend Report related architecture to project/product Manager. J. Ensure compliance with standard software development practices, processes and enterprise standards. K. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline. Two (2) years of experience in related field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college.

Experience Required:
Five (5) years experience in determining computer capabilities and hardware/software requirements.
Special Knowledge/Skills Required:
A. Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (i.e. Windows XP, Windows 2003). B. Knowledge of Oracle 9/10g, SQL Server 2000/20005. C. Strong SQL skills and can write efficient and complicate Stored Procedure using both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environment. D. Knowledge of Crystal Report 9 and XI, Crystal Enterprise, Business Objects 6.5, Webi, Business Views and SQL Report Server. E. Knowledge of XML, VBA and Access Database development. F. Strong organizational skills G. Excellent communication, effective leadership and interpersonal skills.
