| Position Description |
Purpose of the Position:
To manage the Human Resources for GLS LLC to manage the facility support and records storage functions for GLS; manage staff and ensure operation within budget.
Principal Responsibilities of the Position:
A. Provide requisite support to marketing efforts from onset to program phase-in/loss. Provide inputs to pricing re conformed rates and/or appropriate job classifications, interpretation of collective bargaining agreements and fringe benefit plan pricing. B. Provide accurate employee records for all offices and reporting divisions. Administer non-qualified employee benefits and training curriculum. C. Maintain exempt and non-exempt salary and wage structures for all offices and operating divisions in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. D. Administer and manage defined benefit plans for medical, dental, life, AD&D;, short and long term indemnities, 401k, and ESOP within established corporate authorities. Develop and administer non-standard plans resulting from collective bargaining agreements or subcontracts as required. E. Act as chief spokesman for the Company in labor negotiations. Provide support as required in the areas of contract administration, interpretation and grievance/arbitration. F. Insure compliance with applicable Federal, state and local statutes. Act to prevent, reconcile and/or resolve instances of potentially unlawful conduct. Represent GLS in cases of allegations of unlawful conduct before third parties. G. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline. Prefer at least ten (10) years progressive Human Resources experience.

Special Knowledge/Skills Required:
A. Comprehensive knowledge of employment law to include experience before regulatory agencies such as EEOC, OFCCP, and or US DoL. B. Experience in union and non-union employment environments to include collective bargaining. C. Ability to plan, organize, direct and coordinate the activities of Human Resources staff and division administrative personnel.
