Summary of the Classification:
Maintains internal networks and connections for complex systems for DynCorp International LLC business units. Principal Responsibilities of the Classification:
Performs many of the following responsibilities:
F. Maintain data files and control procedures for complex systems of networked computers or a single group of microcomputers linked to a host workstation. G. Develops network, news, and host security policies. H. Overseas remote client dial-in access. I. Monitors network traffic and makes necessary recommendations for additional resources or hardware. J. Manages set up and maintenance of intranets related to system administration functions. K. Assists with linking Web servers to database systems. L. Assigns passwords and monitors uses of resources. M. Back up files as required and responds to management request for information. N. Responsible for system security and data integrity that involves general troubleshooting, and communication with end-users. O. Write and maintain reports to update management of relevant information. Status first line management on a regular basis. P. Interfaces with and supports client in the operation of the automated systems. Q. Consult with client to prototype, refine, test and debug programs to meet contractual needs. R. Monitor performance of programs and/or automated systems after implementation. S. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and other practices set forth by upper management directives to maintain DI standards. T. Provide guidance and information on network policies, procedures and standards to DI. U. Provides technical guidance to lesser experienced systems administrators. V. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline. Two (2) years of experience in related field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college.

| Required Skills |
Experience Required:
Five (5) years experience in working as a Systems or Network Administrator running Windows or similar network systems.
Special Knowledge/Skills Required:
A. Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (i.e. Windows 3.51, 95, 98, NT Workstation & Server, 2000, and XP). B. Knowledge of web application development and relational databases. C. Strong analytical capabilities in System Development Life Cycle and Project Management concepts. D. Excellent communication, effective leadership and interpersonal skills. E. Current on the latest technological advances within industry.
